Indecency Exposed?

The Super Bowl was played three days ago and in case you don't remember, the New England Patriots won. You may have forgotten because all of the focus has been on the Janet Jackson breast-baring stunt and advertisements that seemed to skirt the decency lines themselves.

So, what does this all say about how Madison Avenue sees Americans and how Americans see themselves? Have we become a shock culture? A depraved one? A nation of cynics?
