photoOhio just won't go away. The state that gave Bush the 2004 Presidency, that continues to give fuel for the left leaning who think the election was rigged, and is bound to be a battleground state in 2008, is brimming with problems.
The state's Republican governor, Bob Taft, is under fire for ethics violations. A major GOP political fundraiser in the state is currently under investigation for losing millions in state money thanks to a botched rare coin investment. Earlier this month, a fiercely Republican district almost voted a Democrat into Congressional office. And scores of Ohio soldiers have died recently in the Iraq war. This hour On Point, the GOP's Ohio Problem.
