Straight out of the gate of midterm gains, Republicans this weekend went after health care reform.

It took years to hammer out. It’s barely six months old. But the GOP is loud and clear right now in its goal: repeal, or strip as much as they can. Deny funding from the Republican House. Oppose implementation at every GOP-run statehouse.

And yet, America is still in the midst of a health care crisis – of coverage, of affordability, of outcomes for all the huge money we spend.

We go the trenches, again, on health care reform. And Dr. Tim Johnson weighs in on the care and coverage we need.
