Our Week In The Web: August 15, 2014

In the wide world of the Internet, replying to comments can have any number of effects. Sometimes, responding to a complaint or question can fuel a string of anger and accusation. Other times, a response can spur a thoughtful exchange and change of heart. Occasionally, nothing happens at all. But we've tried to make a habit of responding to questions and comments on our many digital platforms in whatever way possible — be it through a comment, a tweet, a Facebook post, an email or through any other medium. (We've debated starting an On Point SnapChat account...stay tuned on that front.) The point is, we read all of your comments, and want to try and help you find the information you're seeking or the answer you want when you ask for it. Our goal is to make your listening experience better, however we can, and we hope you can join us in that journey. We're so glad you feel comfortable holding our toes to the fire and digging in to the finer points of our conversation. (And we apologize for the lack of web write up last week. Your regular web producer was on vacation, and his replacement didn't quite get to Friday afternoon on time).
