WBUR People: Frannie Carr

Frannie Carr is WBUR's morning news writer and midday newscast producer. In addition to writing many of the stories listeners hear during the station's Morning Edition news program, she is also responsible for news gathering and for producing the station's midday newscasts.

Frannie is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. Before joining WBUR as a production assistant in 2007, she worked as a reporter for public radio station WCAI in Woods Hole, Mass.
