Ric Duarte
Ric Duarte is new to WBUR and to NPR in general – but not at all new to sports or radio.
Ric has been a part of the sports media since 1986, reporting on the Bruins and their opponents for different radio outlets. He has done play-by-play for high-school hockey and football and always been a fan of hockey and the Bruins. Even at his advanced age (not telling), he still plays hockey three mornings a week.
He has been writing a Bruins blog since 2007 for WBZ.com and will bring his objectivity to wbur.org to keep you informed and up-to-date on all things Bruin for the 2010-2011 season. Objectively.
Ric grew up in Dorchester. He lives in Malden and remembers “Jesus saves but Espo scores on the rebound!”
