Sean Bowditch
Before joining WBUR in 2010, Sean worked as a producer for NPR’s political unit, covering the run-up to the 2008 presidential election. He also produced for several of NPR’s news magazines, including All Things Considered, Weekend Edition and Morning Edition. Prior to that, he did a stint in Ecuador as a freelance reporter for NPR.
He has also served as a reporter and host at WAER-FM in Syracuse, N.Y., and at KLCC-FM in Eugene, Ore. His reporting work has been recognized by The Associated Press and Public Radio News Directors, Inc.
Sean holds a B.A. in government and African-American studies from Wesleyan University and a M.A. in international relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
He lives in Medford with his wife and son.
