With the presidential election less than three months away, two Massachusetts local elected officials are giving their insights on the 2016 race.

Geoff Diehl represents the 7th Plymouth district in the state's House of Representatives. Diehl is a Republican and he is also the Massachusetts co-chair of Donald Trump's campaign.

Ayanna Pressley is a Boston city councilor and was a delegate for Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention.

Diehl and Pressley joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the 2016 race.
