As Mass. Launches Early Voting, Election Officials Express Excitement, But Have Questions

Massachusetts has now become the latest state in the country to offer in-person, early voting. It begins Monday.

Thirty-seven states now provide some kind of opportunity for all registered voters to cast their ballots before Election Day.

But, as NEPR reporter Jill Kaufman explains, not every state is heading in this direction.
