Transgender Kids Face Challenges While The Adults Argue

Thirteen states have made it illegal to discriminate again transgender people, or those whose gender does not match the sex they were born with.

In Massachusetts, the transgender civil rights bill is in committee and expected to move back to the floor for a vote next month. The bill would protect adults from discrimination, but many transgender people discover their identity confusion as kids.

In June, the first camp of its kind for transgender kids will be held in New England. We speak with a panel of experts about the challenges these children face.
