Paul Harding, of Wenham, recently won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for his first novel, "Tinkers," about the final days of an old watch repairer in rural Maine.

In an interview, Harding remembers his early days as a B-list rock star and poet while acknowledging the impact of the New England landscape on his work.
