State environmental leaders and the Massachusetts attorney general are closely watching the debate in the U.S. Senate as it prepares to vote on whether to ban the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gases. Passage could undo a landmark ruling, Massachusetts v. EPA, which that set the stage for new limits on the emissions that contribute to global warming.
