Before Red Sox, Black Baseball In Boston

Long before the Red Sox became the last Major League Baseball team to integrate, Negro League teams based in Boston and New England played for die-hard fans.

On Thursday, the United States Postal Service unveils two Negro Leagues Baseball commemorative stamps, highlighting the all-black professional teams that operated across the country between 1920 and 1960.

We take a closer look at legendary New England players like "Cannonball" Will Jackman and the storied history of black baseball in Boston.
