One major player pushing for beer connoisseurship is Boston Beer Company, brewer of Sam Adams beer. Depending on your point of view, when it comes to beer companies Sam Adams is either the big small guy, or the small big guy.

Boston Beer Company's founder, Jim Koch, knows how difficult it is to breathe life into a small company. So he has established a micro-lending program to help other small business owners get on their feet.
