Operation Payback's Anonymous Campaign For WikiLeaks

A loose group of hackers that calls itself "Anonymous" is trying to shut down the websites of companies that have cut ties with WikiLeaks.

"Operation Payback" has targeted the websites of Mastercard, Visa and PayPal. Each of those companies had stopped processing payments to WikiLeaks after Wikileaks released hundreds of thousands of secret diplomatic cables.

Boston-area web activist Gregg Housh has become something of an unofficial spokesperson for Anonymous. Housh says he's not participating in Operation Payback, but has been monitoring it closely. We speak to Housh about what Operation Payback hopes to achieve, and why.
