A grand jury in Westchester County, NY, finished deliberations Monday regarding the fatal shooting of Danroy "D.J." Henry Jr. by a police officer last October. The decision was not to indict the police officers involved in the shooting.

The federal Justice Department has since announced it will examine the evidence in the case, something the Henry family had been requesting for some time.

We talk with criminal justice professor and former police officer Tom Nolan about the jury's decision and the federal investigation.

Guest:

  • Tom Nolan, professor of criminal justice at Boston University; 27-year-veteran of the Boston Police Department.
