Massachusetts has had a summer of severe weather.

First, a tornado ripped through the western part of the state in June. Then, many locals felt the effects of an earthquake this week. Now, New England is preparing for hurricane Irene, currently projected to reach our area by Monday.

We check in on how Boston's infrastructure, emergency management services, and cultural institutions are preparing for this severe weather.
