The only team standing between the Patriots and the Super Bowl is the Baltimore Ravens. The two teams have played each other seven times over the years, with the Patriots winning all but one of those games. Of course, the last time both sides met in the playoffs, in 2010, the Ravens shelled the Patriots by a score of 33-14.

"The Ravens, they're the best team we've faced all year," Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told WEEI radio this week.

Is Brady right? We'll turn that question to Bill Littlefield, host of NPR's Only A Game. And with the Patriots just one win away from a Super Bowl return, we'll also examine whether the Patriots have supplanted the Red Sox as New England's favorite professional sports team.
