When I stepped outside for lunch on Thursday, I thought I saw the smallest of snow flakes drifting out of the sky. That, plus the forecast for more of the white stuff on Saturday, means a collective groan from homeowners who have to shovel, and a collective hallelujuah from winter sports enthusiasts, especially high school skiiers, for whom this dull brown winter has been a major buzz-kill.

We spoke earlier with Michael O'Connor, athletics director at the all-girls Ursuline Academy in Dedham, Mass., about how his school's ski team is dealing with the dry slopes this season.

Guest:

  • Michael O'Connor, athletics director, Ursuline Academy

This program aired on January 19, 2012.
