Our news roundtable looks at Sen. Scott Brown’s official announcement that he’s seeking re-election, and the deal being brokered between Brown and his main Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren to ask third parties to refrain from producing and airing attack ads in the campaign.

We’ll also look at Boston Mayor Thomas Menino's new hope to reform the city’s school assignment plan to allow more students to attend neighborhood schools.
