When we last spoke to Only A Game's Bill Littlefield, the Celtics had just lost Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. One week and four games later, the Celtics aren't just "taking the Heat," they're beating it with a 3-2 lead in the series after last night's 94-90 victory in Miami.

The Celtics will be back on their home turf for Game 6 on Thursday night, hoping for the win that would end the series and send them right to the NBA Finals.

In other sports news, the 144th Belmont Stakes is taking place this Saturday. It's been 34 years since a thoroughbred horse has won the U.S. Triple Crown, but horse "I'll Have Another" has already won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, and he's a 4 to 5 early favorite for Saturday's race. Will 2012 break the spell?

Guest:

Bill Littlefield, host of NPR's Only A Game

This segment aired on June 6, 2012.
