Back in the 1980s and '90s, Stan Frankenthaler was one of Boston's up and coming chefs. He trained with Jasper White, helped start the Blue Room in Cambridge, and ran a trendy Asian-fusion restaurant of his own called Salamander in Boston. Now he's designing donuts, sandwiches, bagels and breakfast wraps as the first-ever executive chef of Dunkin' Brands.

We asked Frankenthaler about that career transition when we met up with him at Dunkin' Brands world headquarters in Canton, Mass., where his team prepped an impressive array of donuts, croissants, wraps and sandwiches.

Guest:

  • Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin' Brands executive chef

This segment aired on July 17, 2012.
