Olympic fever is sweeping the streets of London ahead of Friday's opening ceremonies. Perennial Olympians and U.S. Swim Team strongholds, Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, are expected to provide some fierce competition in the pool later in the week, while the U.S. Women's Soccer Team kicked off its gold medal defense earlier today, battling France on the pitch.

And the "football frenzy" has made its way across the pond to Fenway Park. Tonight Liverpool FC — owned by Red Sox owner John Henry — will face AS Roma at the historic ballpark at 6:30 p.m.
