Marblehead's own Kayla Harrison has won the first Judo gold medal for the United States today, defeating Gemma Gibbons of Great Britain.

This completes an amazing comeback for Harrison, who moved to Massachusetts to train with Wakefield's Jimmy Pedro, after quitting her last coach, who had sexually abused her.

And all eyes were on Needham-native Aly Raisman today, to see if she'd win gold in the gymnastics all around competition.
