In the news this week, Sen. Scott Brown calls "foul" on the mailing of voter registration forms to thousands of welfare recipients.

His Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren also backed off of her demand to see more of Scott Brown's tax records.

Meanwhile, James "Whitey" Bulger decides to take the stand in his own defense.

And on Beacon Hill, Gov. Deval Patrick signs the Health Care Cost Containment bill, but some say the real work is still ahead.
