Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention, Gov. Deval Patrick fired up the delegates in Charlotte with an impassioned speech criticizing the man who held the office before him: Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney talks a lot about all the things he's fixed. I can tell you that Massachusetts wasn't one of them.

Patrick  reviewed a litany of claims about the Romney administration, from poor job growth to education cuts, crumbling infrastructure and a structural budget deficit. He then painted a rosy picture of how life has improved in the Commonwealth under his watch. Which claims hold water?
