Whether you love or hate their music, there is little doubt that  in the 1980s, New Kids on the Block was the group that gave new life to the boy band phenomenon. Boston-bred NKOTB sold more than 80 million records and topped Forbes’ highest-paid entertainers list, ranking above Michael Jackson and Madonna.

But their rapid rise to fame was matched by an equally swift fall from the spotlight. That was until the group reunited in 2008, marking one of the most successful comeback tours in history.

Guests:

  • Nikki Van Noy, author, “New Kids on the Block: Five Brothers and a Million Sisters”
  • Joey McIntyre of New Kids On The Block

This segment aired on October 5, 2012.
