Lingering snow and heavy rain are hovering over parts of New England this afternoon, but according to the National Weather Service, the worst of the nor-easter is over — for now.

The Boston area didn't see any of the predicted snow because conditions were too warm overnight, but weather spotters have reported up to 10 inches in Central and Western Massachusetts towns such as Leydon, Heath and Athol.

And snow accumulation in New Hampshire is expected to reach up to 14 inches by the end of today — leaving folks across ski country rejoicing.

Guest: Alice Pearce, President of Ski NH
