Over the past couple of years, you've been hearing a lot from the Moakley Courthouse in South Boston — from the trial of admitted mobster James "Whitey" Bulger, to the trial of former House Speaker Sal DiMasi, to the indictment of suspected Marathon Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. If there's a high profile New England trial, it's going to be at the Moakley Courthouse.

Well today, we're going to spend a little time talking about its namesake - Congressman John Joseph Moakley of South Boston, who is the subject of the new book, Joe Moakley's Journey: from South Boston to El Salvador.
