This week in Review: the Republican Party of Massachusetts adopts a socially conservative party platform, against gay marriage and abortion. It's a platform at odds with the GOP's top candidates, including Charlies Baker and Richard Tisei. For the second time in four months, Revere voters back a 1.3 billion dollar casino at Suffolk Downs. And the politicos are champing at the bit over Deval Patrick's political future.

Guests

Jim Stergios, executive director of The Pioneer Institute.

Joan Vennochi, columnist for the Boston Globe.

This segment aired on February 28, 2014.
