The lucrative Greater Boston casino license is poised to go to the banks of the Mystic River, with a majority of state gaming regulators voting in favor of Wynn Resorts’ $1.4 billion casino proposal in Everett.

Three of four Massachusetts Gaming Commission members voted for the Wynn proposal.

After pushing back against some specific changes to its proposal requested by state regulators, Wynn agreed on Tuesday to spend more money to mitigate traffic around its facility – especially in Boston’s Sullivan Square.
