Saints And Tzadiks Fuse Traditional Irish And Yiddish Music

When Susan McKeown and Lorin Sklamberg first sang together, they found a connection that took them by surprise. Susan is a GRAMMY Award-winning Irish folk singer and Sklamberg is the lead singer of the world-renowned group, The Klezmatics.

Together, they are Saints and Tzadiks — a rich fusion of traditional Irish music and Yiddish folk songs.

Saints and Tzadiks will be performing Wednesday night at Johnny D's in Somerville as part of the Boston Jewish Music Festival.

Susan McKeown will also be performing with The Klezmatics Thursday night at Portsmouth Music Hall and Saturday night at the Somerville Theatre.
