As a member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Leyla McCalla celebrated American roots music. In her new solo album, "A Day For The Hunter, A Day For The Prey," McCalla explores social justice and pan-African consciousness.

The Leyla McCalla Trio will be performing Friday, October 7, 2016 at The Rockwell in Davis Square.
