Last night, the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians faced off in the first game of the 2016 World Series. The two teams combined have gone 174 years without a World Series victory. No matter who wins, someone's drought is ending this October.

We talk to Only A Game's Bill Littlefield about the outlook as well as the Celtics' season opener, and Rita Jeptoo's retroactive disqualification from the 2014 Boston Marathon for doping.

Guest

Bill Littlefield, host of NPR’s Only A Game, which tweets @OnlyAGameNPR.

This segment aired on October 26, 2016.
