Choosing to accept or refuse medical treatments extending life is a difficult, painful decision. We've gotten better at talking about death over the last several years, but we still have a ways to go.

When having conversation around what patients want their doctors to do during a "code blue," or when a patient requires immediate resuscitation, confusion and inconsistencies still remain.
