Comedian, author and actor John Hodgman has made a career out of fake facts. But, for his latest book, Hodgman turned to the truth.

His latest book is "Vacationland: True Stories from Painful Beaches." In it, he chronicles his own, true experiences in the wilderness of Massachusetts, which he call the "birthplace of rage and spite," and on the painful beaches of Maine, where he says he will one day inevitably accept his death.
