Susanna Styron is a filmmaker, and after her daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with migraines, she turned to her medium: writing and directing a documentary, “Out of My Mind.” The film provides more insight into migraines, their causes, and research efforts that are underway. Perhaps most importantly, though, Styron hoped to illuminate the impact migraines have on sufferers and those who love them.

The documentary "Out Of My Head" will be shown on Aug. 8 at the Martha's Vineyard Film Center, and is screening via Theatrical On Demand

Guest
