Baker Meets With Superintendents, Law Enforcement For Roundtable On School Safety

Gov. Charlie Baker and his administration are meeting with school superintendents and law enforcement officials Monday to discuss school safety during a public round table.

This follows the governor's plan to improve safety and security training for students, staff and first responders in schools. The proposal includes $72 million for school security upgrades and $40 million to hire social workers, psychologists and mental health counselors.
