Soundcards are little stories – just thirty seconds to a minute – that capture voices and sounds from around the Boston area. Taken as a whole, they aim to create an audioscape of the people, places, and ideas that make this region so distinct.
These stories air twice a day on 90.9 WBUR – at 8:59 every morning and 3:59 every afternoon. They are a break in the day – a pause in our regular programming – to celebrate the neighborhoods in which we live. They are also stories meant to be shared, and we hope you’ll do that here.
Let us know if there’s a person that you think we should talk to or a place we should visit as we keep adding more voices and sounds to the audioscape of this city. Email us at email@example.com.
Soundcards is produced by Lisa Tobin, Dan Mauzy, and John Perotti, with help from many others.
