Chilean Sea Bass:
In the last 10 years, the Patagonian Toothfish has changed its
name to the Chilean Sea Bass and become one of the most popular
items on the menu at many American and Asian seafood restaurants.
This fish is indigenous to the southern seas, near Antarctica,
and is now in danger of extinction. Fishing for the Patagonian
Toothfish is also endangering many antarctic bird species, and
environmental groups are garnering support for international controls
