This five-part series debuts May 22, 2006 and examines the forces shaping Boston's future.

The series takes a critical look at Boston's economic roots, the significant changes that have shaped the city and the challenges and opportunities facing Greater Boston at a time of transition.

Part III, reported by Fred Thys looks at Boston's talent pool.

Part IV, reported by Monica Brady-Myerov examines the city's changing demographics.
