Jennifer Schmidt is Coordinating Producer for Here and Now. She was the Assistant News Director at KPLU radio in Seattle. She reported on environmental issues, covering stories for National Public Radio, NPR's Living on Earth, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Schmidt has won numerous national and regional awards for investigative, feature, and documentary reporting.
Lindsay Miller, Senior Editor
Lindsay Miller is Senior Editor for WBUR's Morning Edition. She was the editor for WBUR's documentaries "Bosnia's Peace: Inside Out" and "Kosovo: Living with Loss." Before moving to Boston, she worked as a writer and producer at CBS News, where she won an Emmy for her work with Bill Moyers.
Michael Garth, Sound Engineer
Michael Garth is the engineer for the "The Price of Punishment" series. He has been a Broadcast Recording Technician for The WBUR Group for 2 years. He began working at WBUR while still a student at Boston University.
Jon Marston, Sound Engineer
Jon Marston is a web developer at WBUR. He was formerly the technical director of Here and Now, where he worked closely with producer Jen Schmidt on all manner of projects ridiculous and sublime. His recording work on the prison series is a return to his sound engineer roots.
Christine Fichera, Multimedia Producer
Christine Fichera produces web-based multimedia features for WBUR. Before joining WBUR, she worked in the multimedia industry creating interactive educational software.
