In 1988, Benazir Bhutto became the first woman to head up an Islamic state. As Prime Minister of Pakistan, she gained great insight into the Islamist movement in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden, the plight of women in the Muslim world, and the historic tension between India and Pakistan.

Tonight, Benazir Bhutto joins us to discuss the volatile issues in the Islamic world that have existed for decades before they came to the attention of the United States in a catastrophic way on September 11th.
