For every $100 that WBUR raises, Charlesbridge Publishing will donate a book to a child through Reach Out and Read.

Reach Out and Read is a national nonprofit organization that promotes early literacy by giving new books to children and advice to parents about the importance of reading aloud in pediatric exam rooms across the nation. This year, the Reach Out and Read pediatricians plan to provide 6 million new books to 3.8 million children at 4,535 healthcare sites in all 50 states.
