The WBUR Legacy Society

Leave a legacy of news and information programming.

Many WBUR members say they wish they could do more to secure the future of WBUR but they are on a fixed income and cannot afford to give more than they already are.

One of the simplest ways you can support the station is by naming WBUR as a beneficiary in your will or living trust.  You can donate a specified sum of money, a particular property or a percentage of the residue of your estate.  In turn, WBUR will be able to use these contributions to secure the future of WBUR by building a fund to ensure that future generations of public radio listeners are able to keep abreast of local and international news and information.  WBUR is owned by Boston University, whose legal name is Trustees of Boston University.  Thus, although to reach WBUR, your gift should be made to Trustees of Boston University, your gift may be made solely for WBUR’s benefit.

If you notify WBUR with your intent to support the station with a planned gift, you can become a member of the WBUR Legacy Society. If you have already included the station in your estate plans, please let us know by contacting us at the information below. We would appreciate the opportunity to thank you and help make sure your intentions are carried out properly. Thank you.
