WBUR relies on significant support each year from a generous group of listeners who are able to make gifts to the station of $1,200 or more. Newsmakers, WBUR’s leadership giving program, provides the highest level of annual support for programming and other station initiatives, allowing WBUR to meet listeners’ demands for uncompromising journalism. As a benefit of this support, Newsmakers enjoy participating in intimate station events, meeting WBUR hosts and reporters and stepping behind the scenes of Boston’s NPR news station.
