On this week's show, writer, journalist and scholar Michael Ignatieff delivered a lecture entitled "The Lesser Evil: Hard Choices in the War on Terror."

Igantieff, who is currently professor of the Practice of Human Rights and Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, provided an international perspective to the debate over the choices governments are required to make in the war against terror. Responding to his remarks will be Glenn Loury, University Professor of Economics at Boston University.

Ignatieff's lecture was held as part of a series of lectures looking at the topic of "evil" presented by the Institute for Philosophy and Religion, and sponsored by the Boston University Humanities Foundation and the Boston University.
