This week's show featured a discussion titled "Democracy: Ancient and Modern" with Loren J. Samons II, Associate Professor of Classics and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University.

Dean Samons spoke about the history of democracy, particularly in Ancient Greece, and how the democracies of the current day can learn from the past. He is the author of a new book called "What's Wrong with Democracy?"

Dean Samons introduced by Bruce Redford, professor of English and Art History at the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University.
