The speakers were Manuela Bairos, Consul General of Portugal; David Barry, Consul General of Ireland; Francois Gauthier, Consul General of France; Constantinos Orphanides, Consul General of Greece; John Rankin, Consul General of The United Kingdom; Carlos Robles, Consul General of Spain; Wolfgang Vorwerk, Consul General of Germany; and Liboria Stellino, Consul General of Italy.

The discussion, moderated by the Boston Globe Senior Editorial Page Editor Alan Berger, began with an introduction by the Institute for Human Sciences Executive Director Irena Grudzinska-Gross.
