This show features the first of two lectures on the 40th anniversary of the Six-Day War sponsored by the Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies at Boston University.

The speaker was Israeli journalist and historian Tom Segev and his lecture was titled "1967 — Israel's Longest Year."

Segev's new book, "1967: Israel, the War, and the Year that Transformed the Middle East" — currently a number-one bestseller in Israel — masterfully reconstructs the crises that led to the Six Day War and how it has reshaped the country and region.

Segev was introduced by the Wiesel Center Director, Professor Steven Katz.
